Hiliary- Ferinando Scianna

I chose Ferdinando Scianna to imitate. I really like his work with shadows and objects. There was one picture with a donkey and the light was coming through a tree. I tried to work with that. I also liked the picture of the bridge and tried to imitate that as well. I worked with ‘earthly elements’ such as sunlight, fog, trees, and water, but I also tried to blend that with manmade elements such as streets and bridges.

Great job Hiliary, I really enjoy these photos. My favorite is the modern bridge, with the leading lines and it still has those ‘earthly elements’ with the grass.

Hi Hiliary!

Great Job! I think the photo of the pecan trees and sunrise is my favorite. It must have been difficult to capture the fog on film, but in this picture the colors of the sun are highlighting the fog. Do you remember about what setting you were on? Or tips on shooting in fog?

Hillary, The photo in the pecan orchard is my favorite by far. You did an excellent job working with tough lighting conditions and making it all come together. Nice choice of photographers as well. The photos certainly have an earthy organic feel to them as a result of the light and fog. Good work.

WOW!! They're really wonderful. I loved them all. My favorite would have to be the pecan trees, but, I'm a sucker for pictures of trees!! :)I think the fog adds so much against the trees and the sun trying to come out. very nice.

Good job!!!

Hilary,

I think your best one was the one you did with the bridge and the fencepost together. It makes it look kind of ironic with the dark color. But I think its unique, also it made me feel like I was either was deep in the country or in like a camping area. Man I miss camping Lol. Good work.
